Hi Ben, Thank you for reaching out. My name is Matt Gromlich and I am running for U.S. Congress in Louisiana's 4th District. I received your message about the Iran War. I am completely against the war in Iran. As a congressman, I would vote against any declarations of war. I would vote against sending any troops into Iran. And I would vote for removal of any troops already in the area. I do have a list of Q&As on my "Priorities" page, <https://www.mattgromlichforcongress.com/priorities> if you scroll down. Please let me know if there are any other questions you have. Best, Matt
The case tracks support for continued U.S. military operations against Iran, which Congress has not formally authorized, including whether a candidate would vote for a war powers resolution to remove U.S. forces from hostilities. Gromlich says he is "completely against the war in Iran" and would vote "for removal of any troops already in the area". That opposes continuing the operation, so we labeled it Condemned. The closest competing label is Mixed or conditional; it loses because his answer attaches no condition.
