Corrections and right to reply
Corrections to our reporting or classification are separate from a public figure changing a position. Changes of position are recorded as new linked events.
Request a correction
Identify the affected page, the language at issue, the proposed correction and supporting primary sources. A public correction address will appear here when configured.
Right to reply
A person or organization named in a record may reply about a factual error, missing context or disputed classification. Identify the record, explain the concern, state the capacity in which you are responding and include primary sources or full-context material when available.
A disagreement alone does not alter the record. We assess replies under the same source and attribution standards. A verified error produces a visible correction; a later attributable public position is documented as a new linked event.
