Statement summary

Laura Loomer wrote on X that flight FZ1073 was hijacked by a "jihadi who wanted to crash the plane full of Israeli passengers," then noted that Tucker Carlson was in Abu Dhabi the same day and asked whether the hijacker was "a Tucker fan."

“the @flydubai plane flown by a Muslim pilot who worked for the Emirati airline was hijacked by the jihadi who wanted to crash the plane full of Israeli passengers as a form of jihad”

Laura Loomer X post on Tucker Carlson and flydubai flight FZ1073X post by @LauraLoomer, October 4, 2026, 01:58 UTC.

Laura Loomer's October 4, 2026 post saying Tucker Carlson was in Abu Dhabi on the day of the FZ1073 incident and asking whether the hijacker was a fan of his.

Why we used this label

The case asks whether a pilot of flydubai flight FZ1073 deliberately tried to crash the aircraft on September 30, 2026. Loomer asserts that the hijacker wanted to crash the plane, so we labeled it Condemned, the case's label for an attributed accusation of the attempt. Her questions about Tucker Carlson do not bear on whether there was a crash attempt.

Response to this claim

Wilkins's complaint against Seraphin says she "is not now and never has been an agent for any intelligence agency" and "has never set foot in Israel."

“That’s not Kash Patel. That’s his girlfriend. And how is it insane if she was defamed? People can’t just go around calling everyone they don’t like “Mossad” spies.”

Loomer's reply to an Alex Jones post that called the suit against Elijah Schaffer "Kash Patel's insane anti-first amendment lawsuit."

Why we used this label

The reference point is the proposition that Alexis Wilkins is, or was, a foreign intelligence agent, specifically an Israeli or Mossad "honeypot" in a relationship with Kash Patel to compromise him. Loomer defends Wilkins's suit and treats the Mossad label as a smear, which rejects the accusation, but she does not say in terms that Wilkins is not an agent, so we used Challenged the characterization. The closest competing label is Denied, because calling it defamation implies the label is false. It loses because her point is about name-calling rather than an explicit statement about Wilkins. Evidence level: her own post on X.
