Kelly Armstrong is a Republican politician and lawyer who became North Dakota's governor in December 2024. He previously represented North Dakota in the U.S. House, served in the state Senate and chaired the North Dakota Republican Party. Before his congressional career, he practiced law and worked in his family's business, Armstrong Corporation. He studied psychology at the University of North Dakota and earned his law degree there in 2003.
