Where this statement fits

Scott Jennings says Hasan Piker called for Black voters to be lynched; Piker sues for defamation, citing an edited clip

On August 11, 2026, Scott Jennings played a compilation of Hasan Piker clips on his radio show and said Piker was calling for Black voters to be lynched. A Snopes review found the compilation joined parts of three streams out of context and order. On October 27, Piker sued Jennings for defamation in federal court in Washington, D.C., seeking $72.5 million. Piker says he has never advocated lynching anyone. We could not locate a public response from Jennings to the suit as of November 1.
