Statement summary
Jon Stewart criticized Natalie Harp’s role in the information flow to President Trump and questioned whether she could be trusted. His monologue did not directly address Jon Ossoff’s original travel-with-Harp remark.
“The outside world is somehow fed into this woman, a single conduit, and from there, she is the filter to all of the information that is directly fed into Donald Trump’s psyche.”
Official Daily Show video identified by independent coverage.
Stewart’s monologue challenges a benign characterization of Harp’s role that is relevant to the case context. It is a contextual position, not a direct response to Ossoff.
