Response to this claim

Kyle Seraphin said on his podcast on August 22, 2025 that FBI Director Kash Patel "has had his own little 'honeypot' issue" and that Patel's girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, is "a former Mossad agent in what is like the equivalent of their NSA," according to the transcript quoted in Wilkins's complaint and in the court's order denying his motion to dismiss.

“To be clear, I’m not saying she’s a Mossad honeypot (because that would be ridiculous) but in my speculative, satirical, totally unserious opinion”

Why we used this label

The reference point is the proposition that Alexis Wilkins is, or was, a foreign intelligence agent, specifically an Israeli or Mossad "honeypot" in a relationship with Kash Patel to compromise him. Carroll writes that he is "not saying" Wilkins is a Mossad honeypot "because that would be ridiculous," then calls his view "speculative, satirical, totally unserious" and ends with "Allegedly." Read literally, the caption rejects the proposition, but the stacked disclaimers and the aside that Patel is "definitely not" behind the suit read as irony that hints at it without stating it, so we used Mixed or conditional. The closest competing label is Condemned. It loses because the post never says that she is an agent. Denied loses because the literal disclaimer is presented as satire. Evidence level: his own post on X.
