They graduated from New York University in 2022 with majors in journalism and environmental studies and a minor in creative writing. Muratova worked at Washington Square News and completed editorial and research internships at The Nation. Their work has appeared in Rewire News Group, and they have worked as a translator and advisor for The New Yorker Documentary.
