Omar rejects Trump's statement that the matter is up to the Justice Department. She says the department that once found her citizenship solid now says something is wrong, which she says shows the investigation is political.
“Oh, absolutely not. I mean, he's got everything to do with it. ... And so for them to say that my status as a citizen in this country was solid, and then to have that same department now saying there's something wrong, tells you how political this whole investigation is.”
