On September 15, 2026, the House agreed to H.Con.Res. 93, 220-204, during a 60-day U.S.-Iran ceasefire. It was the third House vote on the identical war powers text in the 119th Congress, after H.Con.Res. 40 failed 213-214 in April and H.Con.Res. 86 passed 215-208 in June; as a concurrent resolution it was nonbinding and was not presented to the President.
