Role at the time: Singer, commenting beneath Macklemore’s statement
Statement summary
Paloma Faith commented on Macklemore’s statement calling him a rare and important voice and a hero. She had already voiced support earlier in the dispute.
“You are a rare and important voice … thank you for existing…. This is so articulate and so powerful. You are a hero xxx”
Just Jared collects comments left beneath Macklemore’s September 14 Instagram statement and quotes them individually across a multi-page round-up. The comments themselves were not read from the post, whose thread runs to tens of thousands of entries; each quotation here rests on this outlet’s transcription.
Relative to Macklemore’s speech and removal, Paloma Faith praises the statement as powerful and calls him a hero, endorsing the stand he took. This is a separate, later comment from her earlier response already recorded in this case.
Role at the time: Recording artist responding through a public social-media reshare
Response to this claim
Macklemore’s MetLife message was a demand for Palestinian freedom and equal human dignity, not criticism of Jewish people.
“My Hero”
Reporting that preserves Boy George’s direct criticism, Paloma Faith’s “My Hero” reshare, and the text P!nk amplified from StopAntisemitism.
The brief direct caption positively evaluates the complete disputed performance rather than merely redistributing it neutrally.
