“I'm not gonna comment on anything that I have not heard directly”
Zeteo reporter Prem Thakker's post with a two-minute video of hallway questions to House Republicans about Laura Loomer's remarks. The members are identified in Raw Story's account of the same video. The video file carries a September 1, 2026 upload time; the post went up on September 2.
The reference point is Laura Loomer's remarks about Angie Nixon and other Black women in politics. Edwards was asked both about the specific remarks and whether he would condemn such comments generally, and said he would not comment on anything he had not heard directly. That is an express refusal, so we labeled it Explicitly stayed out. Condemned loses because he declined even the general question. Evidence level: video of the exchange, with the speaker identified and the answer quoted by Raw Story.
