Don BaconU.S. representative from Nebraska (Republican), on his X account
Two days before the G20 foreign ministers' meeting in Atlanta, Bacon writes that Lavrov should not be allowed in the country and that Russian leaders should not be welcomed in such forums while Putin wages war on Ukraine.
Responding to
Russian leaders should not be welcomed at forums like the G20 while Vladimir Putin wages war against Ukraine, and Lavrov should not be allowed into the United States.
“Lavrov should not be allowed in the country. As long as Putin is waging war against Ukraine and bombing cities, Russian leaders should not be welcomed in any of these forums. They lead a pariah state.”
