Where this statement fits

Infobip deposition reportedly names a GOP women's fund in Texas texts; the fund denies involvement

The Texas Tribune reports that Infobip's sworn deposition answers, part of which a Travis County judge ordered made public, identify "Republican Women Caucus Fund" and a person named John Braun in connection with texts sent to Texans. CBS News Texas reports that the deposition tied those names to two phone numbers. The Republican Women's Caucus Fund categorically denies authorizing, funding or participating in the activity. A lawyer for the fund later said Infobip identified a phone number for the fund and disputed that attribution. The texts directed recipients to resources from the Transgender Education Network of Texas. TENT says it neither authorized nor sent the materials and sought court-ordered disclosure of the senders. The dispute concerns the attribution in the deposition and the fund's denial.
