Moorhead asks why the shares are not given directly to the public

Patrick MoorheadFounder and CEO of Moor Insights & Strategy

Patrick Moorhead asks why equity dedicated to the public benefit is not given directly to the public, saying people would know better than bureaucratic institutions what to do with the money.

“If it’s dedicated entirely the “public benefit” why don’t they just give it to the public and citizens where they can directly benefit? Seems like the public would know what to do with the money better than bureaucratic institutions.”
