Warns the strikes will lead the country into a complete morass
Scott WienerDemocratic candidate for U.S. House, California's 11th district; California state senator
Speaking to KQED in the first days of the strikes on Iran, Scott Wiener said Trump is acting for his own political purposes, warned the war could become a complete morass or another forever war, and said that if he were in office he would vote no on any war with Iran.
“Trump is not doing this to help Iranians. He's doing it for his own political purposes. And I am so deeply worried that this is going to lead into a complete morass for our country, that it's going to put Iran into a state of chaos.”
