“Fact check: Whatever Tuberville thinks he’s saying here, it’s not terrifying.”
Post by Bill Kristol quoting FactPost's clip of Senator Tuberville saying that many airline pilots, flight attendants and air traffic controllers are part of the furry community and that it is terrifying.
Why we used this label
The reference point is Tuberville's claim that many airline pilots, flight attendants and air traffic controllers are furries and a flight-safety risk. Kristol disputes Tuberville's framing of it as "terrifying" without denouncing the claim or addressing evidence, so the closest competing label, condemns, loses.
