Statement summary
Tim Pool defended the substance of Macklemore's remarks while questioning the tour removal and dismissing his activism as uninformed.
“Cancel culture is not firing somebody... because they are an offensive person. That's not cancel culture... So that's why I say this actually does kind of qualify. It's close... I actually have no problem to be completely honest [with what Macklemore said]... I'd be willing to bet he doesn't know anything about it.”

Why we used this label
Pool defends the substance of Macklemore's on-stage remarks ("I actually have no problem... with what he said") while questioning whether the removal genuinely qualifies as cancel culture and separately dismissing Macklemore's activism as uninformed -- a conditional position combining agreement on the speech itself with skepticism about the surrounding dispute.
