Response to this claim
El-Sayed supports Sharia law and treats opposition to it as white supremacy.
“Abdul El-Sayed likes Sharia law, wants racial reparations, and hates American football. He comes from a violent tradition that is fundamentally incompatible with American culture and values.”
Post on Duffy-Alfonso's X account with a clip of her television commentary, in which she calls El-Sayed "supportive of Sharia law" and criticizes his ties to Hasan Piker. The characterizations are hers.
Why we used this label
The reference point is El-Sayed's position on Sharia law and Vance's characterization of it as support for Sharia. Duffy-Alfonso adopts that characterization and rejects El-Sayed on that basis, so we labeled it Condemned. Challenged the characterization loses because she asserts the critical reading rather than disputing a description. Evidence level: her own post; the attached clip shows her calling him "supportive of Sharia law" on television.
