In a Capital Tonight interview, Brandon Herrera said he wants to prevent Iran from becoming a nuclear power but would not support a prolonged war, and that if asked to vote as a member of the House on going to war with Iran, his vote would be no. He has also called for pulling troops out of Iraq and Syria and opposes what he calls endless wars.

“If I was asked as whether or not I would be one of 435 people that would vote to go to war with Iran, my vote would be no.”
