Kyle Seraphin
Role at the time: Podcaster and former FBI special agent, on The Kyle Seraphin Show, as quoted in Wilkins's complaint and the court's order
August 22, 2025Condemned
Response to this claim
Kyle Seraphin said on his podcast on August 22, 2025 that FBI Director Kash Patel "has had his own little 'honeypot' issue" and that Patel's girlfriend, Alexis Wilkins, is "a former Mossad agent in what is like the equivalent of their NSA," according to the transcript quoted in Wilkins's complaint and in the court's order denying his motion to dismiss.
“[FBI Director Kash Patel] has had his own little ‘honeypot’ issue that’s been going on of late, so we’re just going to acknowledge it real publicly. He’s got a girlfriend that is half his age, who is apparently is both a country music singer, a political commentator on Rumble, a friend of John Rich through Bongino, who also now owns a big chunk of Rumble, and she’s also a former Mossad agent in what is like the equivalent of their NSA.”

Read the original textComplaint, Wilkins v. Seraphin, No. 1:25-cv-01375 (W.D. Tex.), filed August 27, 2025 (Doc. 1)Page 3, paragraph 10 (the quoted remarks); page 4, paragraph 14 (the denial); paragraphs 17 to 27

Wilkins's complaint against Kyle Seraphin, pleading one count of defamation and defamation per se and seeking more than $5 million. Paragraph 10 quotes a transcript of his August 22, 2025 remarks. It is a pleading signed by lawyers, so its statements are allegations and not sworn testimony.

Why we used this label

The reference point is the proposition that Alexis Wilkins is, or was, a foreign intelligence agent, specifically an Israeli or Mossad "honeypot" in a relationship with Kash Patel to compromise him. Seraphin states as fact that Patel's girlfriend is "a former Mossad agent" and ties that to a "honeypot" issue, which asserts the proposition, so we used Condemned. Here that label records only an attributed assertion and no judgment on Seraphin or Wilkins. The closest competing label is Mixed or conditional, because Seraphin later said the remarks were satire and hyperbole. The word "apparently" introduces his list of her roles, but "she's also a former Mossad agent" opens its own clause and is stated as fact, and the court found the remarks "would reasonably be understood as describing actual facts." Mixed or conditional loses because the remark sets no express condition; his later position is recorded as a separate statement. Evidence level: we did not hear the recording, but Seraphin's own answer responds "Admit" to paragraph 10 of the complaint, the paragraph that quotes the transcript, and the court notes that his motion quoted it the same way apart from punctuation.
